AI Transparency Clause
Last updated 16 August 2026
A ready-made clause dance studios can paste into their website or privacy policy to explain why some marketing images are AI-generated.
This is not legal advice
The clause below is a starting point only. Laws around AI transparency vary by country and region - including the EU AI Act - and your studio's exact wording may need to suit your jurisdiction, enrolment terms and photo consent practices. Please have a qualified legal adviser review it before publishing.
Why this matters
Parents, students and visitors increasingly expect honesty about AI-generated content. Platform rules and new laws - especially the EU AI Act - are also asking organisations to be transparent when images or videos are synthetic. For dance studios, the biggest reason to use AI imagery is usually student privacy: it is a practical way to market classes and concerts without needing photo permissions for every child in every shot.
Copyable clause
Some of the marketing images on this website are AI-generated. The dancers, teachers and scenes shown are fictional and are not photographs of our real students, staff or studio. We use AI-generated imagery to protect the privacy of the children and families in our studio. This lets us show the spirit of our classes, concerts and community without photographing or identifying real students, and without the consent and permission challenges that come with publishing photos of children online. Images are created using DancePix AI, based on our own studio profile, prompts and brand guidelines. We review each image before it is published to make sure it is appropriate, on-brand and a fair representation of our studio. If you have any questions about how we use AI-generated images, please contact us.
How to use this clause
- Privacy policy page - add it as a new paragraph or section about marketing imagery.
- Image captions - use a short note such as "AI-generated image" on social posts where platforms or local rules require disclosure.
- Dedicated transparency page - create a simple page explaining your approach to AI imagery and student privacy.
- Enrolment and photo consent forms - reference it so families understand why your website may not show photos of their child.
Make it your own
Feel free to edit the wording to match your studio's voice. You may want to add your studio name, mention specific platforms you post on, or explain how parents can opt out of any real photography you still take for internal use. Keep the core points: the images are AI-generated, the people are fictional, and student privacy is the reason.
